1. I received a call / postcard / email about the Global Escapes program.
Hello and thanks for your interest!
You were contacted by one of the many vendors Global Escapes uses to
contact consumers on our behalf. These vendors are hired by Global
Escapes to inform you about our exciting program and to invite you to
a fun and informative presentation about the Global Escapes program.
2. What will I experience if I attend a presentation?
You will be greeted by our receptionists
and asked to fill out a short form about yourself and your vacation habits,
after which the presentation will start. The presentation is a fun
and informative 90 minute presentation about the Global Escapes Software
License, an innovative way to plan and book your vacations. There
will be a presenter who will speak to you about what we do and to show
you an audio/video presentation about how the Global Escapes program might
benefit you and your family. Depending upon the location we may serve light refreshments such as coffee, tea, and possibly cookies.
3. Am I required to purchase anything if I attend the presentation?
No. While we hope you are interested in the program and do choose to purchase, you are not required to purchase anything before, during or after the presentation.
4. What do I get if I attend the presentation?
As a thank you for coming in to see us, our vendors offer you a multitude of different incentives. The incentives offered depend on which vendor contacted you. Some of these incentives are vacations such as cruises and air travel, others are rebates on things you use everyday - like gasoline for your car, dinner rebates, etc.
After the presentation is over you will receive the incentive offered to you by the marketing vendor that originally contacted you. In order to track the fact that all consumers who attend the presentation receive the incentive, you will be asked to sign a short form indicating your receipt of the incentive. All incentives Global Escapes provides are fulfilled by third parties and have clear instructions for their redemption. If you chose to utilize the incentive, please be aware that you must follow the instructions listed on the incentive fully and exactly. As many of the incentives provided involve travel, you may be required to pay for government fees, port taxes, and other charges if you utilize the incentive. These charges are listed on the incentive and you are only responsible for them if you choose to utilize the incentive. Global Escapes does not fulfill these incentives but we do pay for you to be able to receive them so if you have questions please contact our corporate offices toll free at 800 604 8166 during our regular operating hours.
5. What is the Global Escapes Software License?
The Global Escapes Software License provides you exclusive access to the Global Escapes proprietary search engine and software. The program is a live booking engine that provides our licensees real time access to more than 500,000 weeks of condo and resort inventory at more than 5,000 locations across the globe. In addition, our licensees have access to exclusive pricing at approximately 25,000 hotels worldwide, access to our extensive Cruise Rewards program, and first class customer service through our toll free reservation hotline.
With week long condo / resort accommodations starting at just $299
for the entire week and full family access to the program, the value
is extraordinary. At Global Escapes we are firmly convinced of the importance
of vacations, and are committed to providing you and your family with
exceptional value and look forward to helping you create great vacation
memories.
6. I haven't been contacted yet, but I'm interested in purchasing!

7. I went to the presentation but I did not get to see the presentation.
Sometimes, due to being overbooked or due
to contractual commitments between our company and our vendors we may
ask some people who have been invited to their scheduled presentation
to leave. We appreciate you coming out to see us and you will receive
the incentives you were promised regardless. If we are able to we
will reschedule the appointment with you, but we are not always able to
do so. If you have recently attended but did not have the opportunity
to view the presentation and are still interested in purchasing or learning
more, please contact us at our corporate office and we will be happy to
assist you.
8. I need directions to the presentation.
If the marketing representative did not provide the directions to you, please contact our corporate office or the sales office to which you were invited and we will be happy to assist you.
9. How was my telephone number / email / address selected?
While Global Escapes does not engage in
collecting, buying, selling or trading consumer information for the purposes
of telemarketing, generally speaking there are numerous ways in which
you could be selected to be contacted.
Have you ever received in the mail a form from a bank, credit card company, student loan company, etc. that indicated a change in their Privacy Policy? This may have been an indication by that company that it intended to sell or transmit some information about you. Often, these are marketing organizations that do engage in the buying and selling of consumer information. Additionally, if you've ever visited an informational website or a membership based website on the Internet you may have given permission to that organization to transmit your information to affiliates. Or you may have quite simply filled out a form at a mall or a restaurant soliciting your opinion about the establishment or entering yourself into a contest and as part of that entry, provided permission to that organization to provide your information to third parties. In short, there are numerous ways in which your information may have been selected as part of one of our vendors' marketing campaigns. Other than as required by law or by our contractual obligations to our Licensees (such as obtaining financing for their purchase of the program) Global Escapes does not share consumer information with other parties. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information.
If you are currently on a State or Federal DNC list but think you probably have given permission at some point in the past to another party to contact you, you may receive a call on our behalf or from other companies who engage in telemarketing. If you do not wish to be called on our behalf, please read and follow the directions listed below.
10. Thank you for the information, but I'm not interested.
Global Escapes respects that not everyone is going to be interested in attending a presentation or hearing what one of our vendors has to offer you for your participation. In order to ensure all of our vendors are aware that you do not wish to be called again we are going to need to know which phone number you do not wish to be contacted on. As we do not retain consumer information for the purposes of telemarketing it will be literally impossible to communicate the necessary information to our vendors without knowing the telephone number you desire not to be called on. Once you provide your telephone number to our company it is placed on our Internal DNC list. This is a list comprised of phone numbers provided by consumers who have asked us to inform our vendors that they do not wish to be contacted on our behalf any longer. The telephone numbers are provided to our vendors for the sole and express purpose of ensuring that our vendors can remove those numbers from any call or lead lists that they may use in the performance of their activities. 11. There are other companies going by the name of Global Escapes - is there any relationship?
Despite the similarity of names, Global Escapes (global-escapes.net) is not related to any other company of similar name. Our company is headquarted in Lakeland, FL and if you have any questions at all we hope you will contact us at your earliest convenience.
